Titanium rod has good physical and chemical properties, such as low density, light weight, no magnetic, high strength, good corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and welding performance and so on. Titanium rod is widely used in chemical equipment, desalination of seawater, marine parts, electroplating industry, the corrosion resistance of titanium is 10 times as much as that of stainless steel. Titanium metal is a kind of metal which has the low rejection to the body. So the medical titanium rod processing parts are widely used in human body implants and medical devices.
Technical requirement:
1.The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars shall be in accord with the provisions of GB / T 3620.1, the allowed deviation of chemical composition shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB / T 3620.2.
2.The ellipticity of the light bar (grinding) after heat treatment shall be no greater than the half of the size of tolerance.
3.The random length of the rod is 300-6000mm, the random length of the annealed bar is 300-2000mm. The fixed length and multiple length should not be in the range of random length.
