The tungsten copper alloy has the advantages of metal tungsten and copper, tungsten has high melting point (the melting point of tungsten is 3410 degrees, the melting point of iron is 1534 degrees), and high density (the density of tungsten is 19.34g/cm3 and the density of iron is 7.8 g/cm3), copper has superior thermal conductivity. Tungsten copper alloy (the general range of components is WCu7~WCu50) has uniform microstructure, high temperature resistance, high strength, high density and moderate electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, which is widely used in military thermostability materials, high pressure switch electrical alloy, electric electrode processing, microelectronic materials and is also widely used in aerospace, aviation, electronics, electric power, metallurgy, machinery, sports equipment, etc, as parts and components.
1.Military high temperature resistant material: The tungsten copper alloy is used as nozzle, a gas rudder, an air rudder, a nose cone in missile and rocket engine.
2.High pressure switch electrical alloy: Tungsten copper alloy is widely used in the circuit breaker WCu/CuCr of high voltage switch SF6 128kV, the high voltage vacuum load switch (40.5KV 1000A 12kV) and the arrester.
3.Electrode for electric machining: The tungsten copper electrode has the advantages of high temperature resistance, high strength, arc erosion resistance, and good heat conduction performance. It is usually used in EDM electrode, resistance welding electrode and High voltage discharging electrode.
