The molybdenum foils have bright, reflective surfaces free of discolourations, impurities or oxides.
The burr on the cut edge should be a maximum of 1/2 of the foil thickness.
Scratches are long, narrow markings or grooves on the surface of molybdenum foils. A maximum of 5 scratches per foil is admitted. The scratches must not be larger than 0.05 mm and not longer than 1 mm. They are inspected visually.
The standard of packing of molybdenum foil shall ensure that, with normal transport and handling, the contents cannot be damaged. In the unlikely event of products being damaged in transit, the customer should immediately (within 8 days) notify the carrier.
