Because of the high temperature resistance of pure tungsten crucible, tungsten crucible can still maintain the stability under the condition of high temperature, and it can not react with single crystal, therefore, the purity of single crystal has been guaranteed. As a result, tungsten crucible is more popular than other materials in the single crystal growth furnace.
Sapphire furnace is designed by kyropoulos method to cultivate the sapphire single crystal. This method is formed by heating tungsten rod, molybdenum rods, tungsten crucible in the raw material (alumina) to its melting point of 2050 degrees or more, and then gradually reduce the melting temperature, to make it into special particles.
The furnace is constructed in a closed mold with a special heat insulation housing, lid and heater.
