As is known to all, brisk wire cutting industry and wire cutting quality of molybdenum wire are important factors to directly impact on the quality of processing parts. And as for the influence on the processing state of molybdenum wire, no matter what process route is adopted, it can be divided into three basic processing methods: rolling, rotary forging and stretching.
The rotary forging and rolling, while the blank are in the three direction compressive stress state, but because the rolling is much higher than that of the rotary forging force, the rolling pressure of the stress state is strong and the rolling force is more uniform, so it is more conducive to the plastic deformation of molybdenum wire. While tensile, the molybdenum thread is mainly subject to tensile stress, and it is more likely to break the wire. However, due to the limitation of rolling and rotary forging (due to the equipment structure characteristics, mainly used for cogging and rough processing) and the requirements of product specifications, drawing is almost an indispensable finishing method in the production of molybdenum wire (especially fine molybdenum wire). In the process of multipass deformation, the on-line processing state, such as mechanical property, force condition, size and so on, should be analyzed in detail according to the composition characteristics of molybdenum wire.
Therefore, in the production line cutting molybdenum wire, it is necessary to reasonably allocate the pass processing rate and set the annealing point, so as to eliminate the processing hardening of molybdenum wire, improve mechanical properties and production efficiency and ensure product quality.
