WT thorium tungsten:
The most commonly used tungsten electrode in foreign countries. It is easy to arc striking and stable in arc combustion. But it has micro radioactivity and is widely used in direct current welding. It is used for direct current welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy and titanium metal.
WC cerium tungsten:
The most commonly adopted tungsten electrode in China at present. The electron emission capacity is higher than that of thorium tungsten, and is an ideal non radioactive material to replace thorium tungsten. It is suitable for direct current or alternating current welding, especially for small current, rail welding, the welding of small precision parts is the best.
WL lanthanum tungsten:
High current direct current and alternating current are all applicable. The conductivity of lanthanum tungsten is closest to that of thorium tungsten. Without changing any welding parameters, the tungsten and thorium can be replaced conveniently and quickly, and the maximum comprehensive use effect can be achieved.
WZ zirconium tungsten:
Mainly used for AC welding, it is used under special conditions that prevent electrode contamination from weld metal. At high load current, the performance is still good. It is suitable for AC welding of magnesium, aluminum and its alloy.
WY yttrium tungsten:
When welding, the arc beam is slender and the compression degree is large, and the maximum penetration is at the maximum when the medium or high current is applied. It can be made by plastic processing, made of thick 1mm sheet and various kinds of bar and wire. It is mainly used in military and aerospace industry.
